Croda has developed the SenStories selector tool to help formulators to discover suitable oil-in-water emulsifier system recommendations for the development of skin care formulations.
The company says that this links consumer and formulator language to provide sensory observations. “SenStories utilises reliable, reproducible methodology to connect insights on consumer perception and language choice with the knowledge that ingredient combination and colloidal structure are responsible for a given sensory,” Croda said.
The company website contains full instructions on how to select the appropriate set of consumer insights from France or Singapore and the consumer language descriptors, then any necessary refinement options. SenStories will then display emulsifier recommendations.
