Premium Organic has introduced a new application area for its COSMOS- and NaTrue-certified multifunctional active Alpin Heilmoor Extract (AHE), in oral and dental care.
AHE, the company claimed, enhances the oral epithelial barrier, prevents gingivitis, and potentiates wound healing and tissue regeneration after minor injuries to the oral mucosa. It also prevents cell senescence, thus promoting healthy gums.
“At clinical level, AHE showed excellent improvement in oral hygiene by reducing tooth shade, dental plaque and halitosis,” Premium Organic stated. “Moreover, no relevant skin, gingiva or mucosa reactions suggestive of irritation or allergy was detected. AHE was therefore very well tolerated.”
Separately, AHE has won the ‘Best in Cosmetics’ award given by the V-Label organisation, the parent of vegan-certified products. The jury noted AHE’s “innovative sustainable sourcing approach and excellent application possibilities”. The product had earlier this year won two BSB Innovation Awards in the Innovation and Environment categories.
