The 2021 edition of Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi), China’s leading sourcing platform for the global personal care industry, will be held in Shenzhen from 24-26 March at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.
Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions (RSE) has revealed that PCHi 2021 is expected to welcome over 30,000 visitors to take in the latest product offerings from more than 660 exhibitors.
With the industry on a strong rebound and COVID-19 vaccines being rolled out in most parts of the world, face-to-face meetings and the connections made over such interactions are regaining importance.
That said, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a shift in the way business is carried out — especially at trade events. As travel restrictions are still in place across the globe, RSE has redesigned the PCHi experience to give the global personal care community multiple ways to participate in PCHi 2021. Along with the in-person exhibition, there will be several virtual components to offer the international community an opportunity to join the event from a distance.
Headlining the virtual initiative is the PCHi Guided Tour Live Broadcast, where global audience get to experience the PCHi 2021 from anywhere in the world. Across two live stream sessions, RSE will take viewers around the show grounds to explore key show features and to uncover the latest market developments and trends at PCHi.
With the new Regulations on Supervision and Administration of Cosmetics gradually coming into effect since January 2021, interested members of the global personal care community can gain some insights on how the the new regulations has impacted the market and how various companies are navigating the changes ahead through these live broadcast sessions.
The guided tour will also include the brand new feature area, PCHi Sustainability Zone, which will showcase the industry’s journey towards sustainability. Online viewers can look forward to an introduction to innovations that demonstrate exhibitors’ efforts toward sustainable development. Another highlight of the tour is the Beauté Gourmet feature, where the international audience will be led to discover the newest nutricosmetics products and technologies that promote beauty from within. More details on the tour are available at www.pchi-china.com/activity/301.
Another new virtual component is the International Hybrid Networking Zone — specially designed to address the needs of PCHi’s international exhibitors who are unable to attend the event in person. This feature combines both online and offline solutions to offer high quality one-to-one business meetings, allowing international exhibitors to engage domestic visitors despite travel restrictions.
“PCHi 2021 offers the personal care industry an exciting chance to redefine the way we create meaningful engagements, facilitate business exchange, and showcase the latest products and technologies,” commented a PCHi spokesperson. “We look forward to keeping the industry connected and to delivering inspiring educational content that will support the industry in emerging stronger in a post-COVID world.”
