Reed Exhibitions has annouced that in-cosmetics Global will now take place in Fira Barcelona, on the 5-7 October 2021, moving from the original April dates due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has seen a second surge in Europe.
Speaking about the announcement, Roziani Zulkifli, exhibition director at Reed Exhibitions, said: “After consulting with exhibitors and key stake-holders, we recognise that in order to hold an international event there needs to be more time to allow for the reopening of borders and lifting of travel restrictions. It is clear that the industry needs to meet in person later in 2021. Large-scale events are subject to ever-changing national and local guidelines and regulations. Our priority is to deliver an engaging and COVID-secure face-to-face event with combined virtual solutions in October as we are able, one that gives our exhibitors and visitors the additional time to adapt and continue on the path to recovery.
in-cosmetics has held five virtual events over the past seven months and the virtual in-cosmetics Formulation Summit is coming up on the 17-19 November 2020 that will focus on formulation in the climate change age. There are also plans for holding an additional virtual event in April when in-cosmetics Global was originally due to take place. Personal Care will update you as more information becomes available.
