Re-building in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has completely dominated all aspects of global economies throughout 2020 and forced the cancellation or postponement of the majority of exhibitions and conferences.

At the time of writing, some European countries are starting to emerge from lockdown but still far from a state of normality, so it remains to be seen how our industry begins to recover, but what is clear is that we have seen some incredible examples of ingenuity and selflessness from many personal care companies. 

From the onset of the pandemic, people realised hand hygiene was key to limiting the spread of the virus. Quickly, many companies transformed their laboratories into hand sanitiser factories to maintain supply of this critical product to key workers.
