Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions (RSE), organiser of the Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) trade show, has announced PCHi 2020 will be postponed from June.
The decision comes after careful consideration of the global COVID-19 pandemic situation and guidelines issued by the Chinese government, and it was made to safeguard the health and safety of the event’s exhibitors and visitors. New event dates are being confirmed and will be announced in due time.
RSE also shared that this year’s PCHi Fountain Awards Ceremony will be held online. Scheduled for 2–4 June 2020, the PCHi Fountain Awards Online Ceremony will be carried out via live broadcast, where 25 finalists from across the globe will share more about their innovative products and technologies. To find out which companies and individuals will be lauded for their outstanding contributions to the industry, visit the PCHi website and LinkedIn page for updates.
“The global pandemic is constantly evolving and remains challenging,” said Peter Liu, PCHi Project Manager at RSE. “RSE has made the difficult decision to push back the show dates and would like to express our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this announcement has caused. We remain committed to offer a comprehensive ingredients sourcing platform and an innovation-led array of activities to inspire the industry. And we look forward to working hand in hand with partners and industry peers alike to further the development of the personal care and beauty industry through these challenging times.”
