Symrise has introduced Hydromoist L and Hydromoist O to the market, providing the international cosmetics industry with two new active ingredients.
Ultrafiltration reportedly guarantees an extremely low molecular weight of under 2000 Da for both products. Hydromoist L (INCI registered as water (aqua), Lupinus angustifolius (lupine) peptides) and Hydromoist O (INCI registered as water (aqua), Avena sativa (oat) peptides) can be used in a large number of skin and hair care products. Both compounds act as moisturisers that make skin and hair soft and supple. They are said to be especially suited for use on hair that has been stressed by dyes or bleaching.
