Helped and supported by Foshan FDA, CCQAC (China Cosmetics Quality Assurance Committee) successfully organised a seminar held in Foshan, Guangdong, China, and having the theme “Quality and Standards”.
Various officials and guests participated in this meeting – from GDFDA, CCQAC, GDCDC, GD Cosmetics Standards and Testing Centre, Foshan FDA, Foshan Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau, HK Cosmetics Technical Resource Centre, International Cosmetics (Asia Pacific) Joint Development Centre (ICJDC), HKCMA Testing and Certification Laboratories, etc. Besides this, altogether 100 people from a great number of cosmetic enterprises took part in the day.
Simon Chan, executive director of ICJDC, was a guest speaker at the seminar. He is an expert in the cosmetic field and in national and international management methods, and is always considering how techniques may be implemented in China so as to further enhance cosmetics management development and advancement. Simon Chan has been appointed as the chief of Cosmetics Raw Materials QA Sub-Committee under CCQAC.
