Pentapharm has introduced SYN-TACKS, a new innovative peptide complex to preserve and redesign the dermal epidermal junction (DEJ).
Fighting skin ageing is one of the major targets of cosmetic research. Traditional approaches to skin ageing using stimulation of basal keratinocyte proliferation and synthesis of fibroblasts are not perfected particularly considering the changes that occur at the dermal epidermal junction and the evaluation of the changes of the key proteins therein.
SYN-TACKS, which combines two different peptides, offers for the first time the possibility to interact with the most relevant protein structures of the dermal epidermal junction. SYN-TACKS significantly stimulates Laminin V, Collagen types IV, VII and XVII and Integrin all at once. Only by this broad spectrum activity is it guaranteed to achieve the utmost anti-ageing benefit for the skin.
In vitro, SYN-TACKS stimulates all the relevant dermal epidermal junction proteins that play an important role in the functionality of the base membrane, increasing it by up to 190% (Collagen XVII).
In vivo data show, in different studies, a significant effect on cellular cohesion and skin tone and elasticity. The product was also very well received and rated by means of an evaluation questionnaire.
