To provide cosmetics manufacturers with a broad range of silicone-based choices to create multifunctional products, innovative formulations and fit-to-use applications, Dow Corning and Sensient Cosmetic Technologies/LCW, in partnership with Daito Kasei Kogyo, have created a new “Color Your World” set of concept formulations.
“The concepts are highlighted by advancedtechnology pigments, which are an essential complement to makeup foundation for today’s lifestyle,” Martine Seu-Salerno, head of research and development, Sensient Cosmetic Technologies/LCW, stated.
In the line-up of new concept formulations are: • Perfectly Light – a unique oil-free foundation combining sunscreens with superior coverage. It spreads on lightly and easily, creating a smooth, matte finish that keeps skin soft and hides imperfections all day.
• Multipurpose Radiance – smooth, creamy products which come in three different textures with three different colours for various skin shades (Caucasian, Dark and Asian) and can be used alone or in combination for more drama on eyes, cheeks or lips.
• Delicious Cheeks – a powder-to-cream formulation that creates a fresh-from-the-outdoors glow. • Interphase – an exclusive foundation which changes in texture when smoothed onto skin. As a unique, shear thinning formulation, it provides easy spreading and even tone.
• Liptissime Duo — provides intense, matte colour in liquid or stick form that keeps lips hydrated and provides ultimate comfort throughout the day. It stays on even when the wearer is eating and drinking.
• Kiss Me – a colourful lip formulation that combines a unique non-sticky texture, fruity scent and high shine in one creamy product.
