EXFOLIATING SKIN TREATMENT LOTION J1/83A

Preparation:

Procedure: Heat water to 65°C. Pre-mix Butylene Glycol and Keltrol and add to the water phase. Mix until dissolved. Add the other ingredients of phase A one at a time and mix well. Cool to 50°C. In the oil phase tank, add the JEESILC IDD, JEESILC CPS-211 and JEESILC PDS-100 and mix until uniform. Using a homogeniser, add phase B to phase A and mix for 10 minutes. Cool to 40°C. Switch to prop agitation. Add the ingredients of phase C one at a time into the main tank and mix well after each addition. Pre-mix phase D in a side vessel and add to the main tank. Mix well. Add in phase E and mix well. Adjust pH to 4.5 – 5.0 with citric acid. Properties JEESILC® IDD is a high-molecular weight silicone polymer which deposits on a breathable film on the skin. JEESILC® 6056 is a 60% active silicone emulsion of a dimethyl polysiloxane gum. The microbiological integrity of this product is protected with a non-paraben preservative – JEECIDE® CAP-5.
