This oil-in-water sunscreen lotion spray provides globally broad spectrum, label SPF 50 performance. AvoBrite™ protects Avobenzone from photodegradation and improves sunscreen performance. HallBrite® BHB enhances spreadability and emollience. In vitro analysis delivered SPF ~ 58, PFA (PPD) ~20 (PA ++++), broad spectrum performance with critical wavelength 379 nm.

Preparation:

In a secondary vessel, start mixing phase A. Add phase B and heat to 80°C. Add phase C, then phase D and mix well. In the main vessel, start mixing phase E. Add phase F items in order. When fully incorporated, heat to 75°C. When both phases are homogeneous and at designated temperatures, slowly add phase ABCD to phase EF with prop mixing. Start cooling with mixing. When batch is at 50°C or lower, very slowly add premixed phase G. Mix for 20 minutes, then mix in phase H ingredients one by one. Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature. Replace any water lost to evaporation and mix until smooth.
