The Asian cosmetics market represents one of the most dynamic in the world, with imported and exported products displaying impressive growth over the last few years.
The leading personal care ingredients exhibition, in-cosmetics Asia, will provide a platform for this booming industry when it returns to Bangkok’s BITEC this month; attracting formulators, buyers, scientists, marketing experts and distributors from across the globe. For the first time this year, the organisers are collaborating with the IFSCC (International Federation of the Societies of Cosmetic Chemists), partnered with the SCCT (Society of Cosmetic Chemists Thailand) to deliver the best possible programme of activity for the industry. The IFSCC will host the technical conference from 31 October to 2 November at the Centara Hotel, while in-cosmetics Asia will host its ingredient exhibition from 2-4 November at BITEC. Cathy Laporte, group marketing manager at in-cosmetics Asia said: “The collaboration with the IFSCC will create the largest cosmetics gathering in Asia this year, which is being dubbed ‘Beauty Week in Bangkok’. Together these events present a unique opportunity for any organisation or individual working within the personal care industry in Asia to meet the key industry players and learn the latest developments, so it shouldn’t be missed!” in-cosmetics Asia will also include an extensive education programme, featuring a series of Formulation Workshops, Marketing Trends Presentations, Innovation Seminars, and an Innovation Zone featuring the latest new ingredient launches and innovative finished products. Each will provide an opportunity for visitors to enhance their commercial, scientific and marketing knowledge. More than 250 leading suppliers, including over 50 first-time exhibitors, have signed up to the in-cosmetics Asia exhibition, making it the largest in its four-year history. Major players from across Asia including Croda, Dow Chemicals and DSM Nutritional Products will have a strong presence, as well as smaller niche companies from Thailand, South Korea, China, Japan, India and Malaysia all highlighting the very latest Asian developments. New for 2011, a ‘First Time’ Exhibitor Pavilion has been introduced for smaller manufacturers, suppliers or laboratories.
Exhibitors include:
