SCS Formulate returned to the Ricoh Arena for a second time and once again built on the previous year’s visitor figures, indicating this event is showing no sign of slowing its expansion.
Held on 9 and 10 November, the 2010 show delivered a generous range of new products and educational content, all within easy reach for most UK-based people and just a short hop from Birmingham Airport. The exhibition itself presented a comprehensive overview of the marketplace, with companies from mixing technology and colour testing as well as the full complement of ingredient suppliers.
On the Blagden Chemicals stand, Spanish company, Infinitec, promoted its HYB-ECM peptide for men’s skin care formulations. This peptide is key to the regeneration of the extracellular matrix, is a TGF-beta like peptide and has an impact on TEWL reduction. In tests it has shown efficacy in prevention of chronological ageing characteristics, prevention of photoageing as well as reduction of TEWL in men’s skin.
Kerfoot Oils promoted its range of cold pressed oils, including strawberry seed oil and flax seed, which are produced for the cosmetic, nutritional and food industries. These oils have their essential fatty acids and vitamins preserved and have a low peroxide value. It is a natural process, free from chemicals and is suitable for organic certification.
