The city of Buenos Aires will be hosting the 26th IFSCC Congress between 19 and 23 September 2010. Organised by the Argentine Association of Cosmetic Chemists (AAQC), the congress is regarded as the most important scientific and technical meeting of the international cosmetic world, and both the organising committee and the AAQC as a whole have been working hard to ensure a highly informative four days for every participant.
The title of this year’s Congress is “Innovation & Responsibility: Cosmetics Forever”. 2010 also marks 200 years for Argentina as an independent republic, so the social side of the Congress will see particular emphasis on traditional Argentinean culture. On the scientific side, high level keynote lecturers have been chosen. The organising committee is composed of distinguished scientists, researchers and professionals related to the cosmetic industry, and therefore well-positioned to select the most innovative and original papers from the community. The agenda has been fixed to allow 20 platform speakers per day, 60 oral presentations in total, plus four keynote conferences. In addition to the scientific programme, the IFSCC Congress in Buenos Aires will provide a large space for the cosmetic related industries exhibition, which will take place during the Congress. Its location will be integrated with the main Congress areas and it will be a major component of the Congress. The exhibition will offer an excellent opportunity for companies to display their products and for delegates to become aware of the newest trends in cosmetics, equipment and technologies. Following is the schedule for the congress and details of the oral presentations. For more information, visit www.ifscc2010.com
