Fruit butters introduced

The Super Fruit Butters contain the lyophilised whole fruit of the respective species. In each case, only the water is removed from the fruit, leaving intact the dried fruit constituents including the fiber, complex sugars, carotenoids, phenolics, polyphenols and their associated antioxidant properties.  The resultant lyophilised fruit is then micronised and infused into a natural, USDA - NOP** Certified Organic butter base for easy absorption into the skin. 

The butter base consists of organically certified shea and palm butters, as well as organic jojoba oil.  This proprietary blend gives these Super Fruit Butters a base that is both luxurious and functional.  These ingredients are a unique mix of both well known, classical emollients (shea and jojoba) and a lesser known ingredient that is only supplied by Biochemica International, palm butter.  All three have complex fatty acid profiles that lend themselves towards penetrating the epidermis in order to lock in the skin’s natural moisture, while providing important nutrients.  

The base has excellent miscibility, oxidative stability and higher levels of saturated fatty acids, thus contributing to overall emulsion stability of formulas that make use of these new and exciting cosmetic ingredients.  The unique fatty acid profile of these Super Fruit Butters translates to an increased shelf life.  These materials are projected to have a shelf life of three years from the date of manufacturing as long as the recommended storage conditions (unopened and held at 25ºC or below) are met.  All ingredients that make up the Super Fruit Butters are food grade and Generally Recognized as Safe in both the food and personal care industries.
