in-cosmetics is launching a brand new Lifetime Achievement Award to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The award will honour an outstanding individual whose professional accomplishments have made a significant and lasting impact on the field of cosmetic science.
New for the show, which is taking place in the Porte de Versailles in central Paris on 13-15 April 2010, the Lifetime Achievement Award is an in-cosmetics initiative that will run alongside the C&T International Technology Awards, which transfers to in-cosmetics from the HBA show for this year. Nominations to find the person whose professional achievements and lifetime of dedication have earned them the respect and admiration of their industry colleagues are currently open on the in-cosmetics website www.in-cosmetics.com/awards and some very promising entries have already been registered. Lucy Gillam, exhibition director, commented: “2010 is a very special year for in-cosmetics and what better way to celebrate our 20th anniversary than by recognising the achievements of the greatest minds within our industry. The winner will be decided by public vote, so by launching this new Lifetime Achievement Award, we are offering the industry a platform to recognise an individual who has led and inspired those around them throughout their career and is a shining example of why this industry is still strong and growing year-on-year.”
