DSM-Firmenich has taken the wraps off Parsol SLX, a film-forming polymeric UVB filter that combines sun protection with a sensorial experience.
When combined with pigmentary UV filters, the ingredient is said to enhance sunscreen performance by up to 50% while maintaining a superior sensorial experience on the skin.
DSM-Firmenich says, unlike traditional sun protection that often demands heavy formulations to ensure effective UV defence - leaving the skin greasy and uncomfortable – Parsol SLX enhances SPF performance by forming an invisible, uniform shield.
It is said to be the ideal partner for daily skin care routines on preventing premature skin ageing caused by sun exposure, effectively delivering both superior comfort and efficacy.
