British personal care ingredient maker Stephenson has signed up Brenntag Specialties to distribute its Durosoft product line in the USA and Canada.
The Durosoft product range of emulsifiers are naturally derived esters, an alternative to synthetic ingredients, which deliver sustainable, multifunctional performance-driven ingredients for effective skin and hair care.
The North America distribution agreement expands on an existing cooperative relationship with Stephenson in the UK, Italy, France, Poland and the DACH region, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Stephenson managing director Robert Carr said: “In line with our aim of staying one step ahead of the market, we are constantly growing our portfolio of personal care ingredients.
“With Durosoft, we can answer the unique requirements of new product developers and formulation labs around sustainable emulsifiers and solubilisers, offering specific value for natural and sustainable raw material claims.”
