AI, vegan beauty among in-cos Asia Spotlight On sessions

The organiser of in-cosmetics Asia has revealed the programme for its 2024 Spotlight On seminars at next month’s trade show in Bangkok, Thailand.

The seminar programme will feature expert speakers from leading companies such as Incospharm, Spec-Chem Industry, Mitsubishi Corporation Life Science, Sharon Personal Care and others.

Sekyoo Jeong, director and CTO at Incospharm,  will be present ‘AI-maneuvered peptidomimetics design for cosmeceutical development’ on Tuesday 5 November at 11:00.

In this session, Jeong will unveil the organisation’s new AI-maneuvered peptidomimetics design (AMPed) technology, which can translate the chemical structure of target ingredient into peptidomimetic ones.

On Tuesday 5 November at 13:30, Huiyu Wang, product manager at Spec-Chem Industry Inc, will be presenting ‘SC holistic whitening and anti-ageing solutions’ where visitors will learn more about the beneficial properties and functions of the ingredients, SpecWhite VCE---Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, and SpecPed® GCu11P---Copper Tripeptide-1, Signal & Carrier Peptide.

Meanwhile, Momoko Kodaira, sales representative at Mitsubishi Corporation Life Science, will be taking visitors through ‘Repista, perfect wrinkle & barrier recovery with unique retinol-like efficacies’.

Hosting the session on Wednesday 6 November at 15:45, Kodaira will present the features and properties of Repista, primarily its retinol-like efficacies, such as the perfect anti-wrinkle effect, and the production of hyaluronic acid.

On Thursday 7 November at 11:45, Anna Aharoni, Product Director at Sharon Personal Care, will be leading the session, ‘Unlock lasting radiance: A climate-smart, holistic approach to skincare’.

Aharoni will cover some of the advanced strategies for improving skin health by combining innovative techniques with an understanding of environmental effects.

Additionally, as the vegan beauty market continues to expand, Nayoung Lee, senior researcher at HK Kolmar will be running ‘Flollagen: A plant-based collagen booster for the future of vegan beauty’.

Taking place on Tuesday 5 November at 11:45, the presentation will discuss the novel skincare ingredient that serves as a collagen alternative, and offer insights into the future trends of the vegan beauty industry.
