The shortlist for next month’s in-cosmetics Asia awards has been revealed following a record number of entries.
Twenty entries have been shortlisted from a total of 100, marking the highest number of submissions to date with companies like Cargill, Seiwa Kasei, Lubrizol, and Oat Cosmetics among the contenders.
This year’s shortlist was judged by an expert panel comprising experts from renowned companies such as L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble, Amorepacific and more.
The winners will be announced at the official in-cosmetics Asia awards ceremony on Tuesday 5 November in Bangkok, Thailand.
The shortlisted nominees for the Best Functional Ingredient category are:

- Wilmar - Wilsol SPF Booster

- DSM-Firmenich - Eterwell Youth
- Givaudan Active Beauty - Neuroglow
- LipoTrue - Deepstrine
- Provital - Shiloxome
- Rahn - Illumiscin-Glow
- Silab - Commusys
- Solabia - Serenibiome
- Vytrus Biotech - Baolift
The awards will also celebrate the Spotlight On Formulation Award winners, featuring over 40 formulated personal care ingredients judged live at the show, as well as honour the 9 Faces of the APAC Beauty Industry.
