The 2024 edition of the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) Suppliers’ Day achieved a record-breaking attendance.
In total, 11,085 registrants representing 72 countries attended the event on 1-2 May, an 8% increase on last year and more than 35% higher since its move to New York City in 2017.
In addition, a sold-out Javits Center show floor housed in excess 103,000 net square feet of exhibits by 567 companies, including 139 new exhibitors.
“The beauty community truly showed up for Suppliers’ Day with our theme ‘Inspire, Innovate, Celebrate’ evident end-to-end at the Javits Center,” NYSCC chair Amber Evans.
“Every element of product development was on display and optimism and excitement for growth and innovation in all product categories was high,” she added.
Plans are underway for the next NYSCC Suppliers’ Day taking place on 3-4 June 2025, again at the Javits Center, with 87% exhibitor floor already resigned.
The event will be moving to the expansive third level of the Javits and will include new activations and strengthened industry partnerships to create the best global ingredients event for the industry.
