Praan Naturals has launched Organic Virgin Date Kernel Oil (INCI: Phoenix Dactylifera (Date) Seed Oil), the latest in its growing selection of 500 certified organic and conventional natural ingredients.
Organic Virgin Date Kernel Oil is said to be abundant in its monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids composition, and features an impressive range of tocopherols and tocotrienols.
“We believe Date Kernel Oil will soon become a trending oil in the personal care industry, particularly for mature skin products and intensive moisturizers,” said chief executive officer Anáil Moon Devī.
“It has a very desirable emollient feel and a high content of skin soothing tocopherols, tocotrienols and oleic acid. Also rich in antimicrobial lauric acid, this oil is suitable for use in formulations for damaged or irritated skin conditions,” she added.
“It's a new oil that we are excited to introduce to the market, and we expect it to perform well across a wide range of personal care formulations.”
