The New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists’ (NYSCC) Scholarship Committee has opened its 2024 Scholarships and Grants programme.
With awards ranging from $2,500 to $10,000, these opportunities are designed to support and empower students and educational institutions.
This year’s programme has eight funds available: Board Choice Scholarship ($7,500); Roumelia Alina Inclusion & Diversity Scholarship ($5,000); Future of Sustainability Scholarship ($5,000); General Education Scholarship ($2,500); Mentee Next Steps Grant (up to $5,000); Grant for Educational Institutions (up to $10,000); Upskilling Grant (up to $5,000); and SCC Chapter Fellowship Grant ($5,000).
Individuals can apply to more than one scholarship or grant but may only receive one.
The application deadline is 30 June, with recipient announcements on 1 October.
The NYSCC will host a celebratory event on 16 November to recognize all scholarship and grant recipients and the cheques will be disbursed the same week as the event.
