Speciality chemicals and ingredients distributor DKSH has inaugurated an upgraded office and innovation centre in Barcelona to support its rapidly growing business in Spain.
Covering an area over 1,000 square metres, the office is located in L’illa Diagonal, a modern business complex in the district of Les Corts in Barcelona.
The new facility aims to strengthen DKSH Performance Materials’ position with modern and inviting facilities to foster collaboration and an enhanced visitor experience.
The investment includes a larger, state-of-the-art innovation centre for personal care, which specializes in cosmetic solutions and formulations.
“The relocation represents a crucial progression in our strategic growth initiatives. The investment highlights our dedication to strengthening our footprint in the Spanish market for specialty chemicals and ingredients and to better serve our valued business partners,” said Josep Maria Guilera, Head of Country Management, DKSH Spain.
“Due to this growth, Barcelona is increasingly becoming the European central hub for some of the Business Unit’s core functions,” he added.

This certification ensures energy savings, health benefits, and environmental advantages with functionality, flexibility, and durability for all partners.
The workspace incorporates sustainable materials and prioritizes the efficient utilization of natural resources, complemented by modern fixtures and technologies.
It features a centralized heating and air conditioning system regulated to energy efficiency standards, an osmosis fountain directly connected to taps, eliminating the need to purchase water tanks, and multiple recycling stations to encourage proper waste separation.
