UK regulatory and microbiological testing house MSL Solution Providers has established a US corporation to enhance in-market support.
By setting up MSL Regulatory Solutions Inc., the company can boost its services to cosmetic and personal care brands selling their products into US.
It also enables the company to act as US agent for facilities that require registration in the USA under Modernization of Cosmetic Regulations Act of 2022 (MoCRA) rules.
MoCRA increases the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) powers, bringing enhanced scrutiny and increasing the safety of cosmetic products sold into the US.
Companies have until 1 July to comply with the requirements related to cosmetic product facility registration and cosmetic product listing, to maintain access to this $430 billion market.
With its extensive experience in working with US cosmetics and personal care product manufacturers, MSL can help businesses prepare and ensure that they stay compliant when the enforcement comes into force.
