in-cosmetics Global reveals new award categories for 2024

The 2024 edition of the in-cosmetics Global trade show in Paris on 16-18 April will introduce two new award categories: Kenvue Trusted Science award and the Sustainable Stand award.

The Trusted Science award will be judged by an expert panel provided by Kenvue, and will recognise applicants’ performances in areas such as addressing unmet consumer need, the credibility of the entry and whether it is backed up by scientific and/or clinical validation data and responsible sourcing.

All submissions must be received by Friday 1 March via the link here, with the winners being revealed on 16 April.

Meanwhile, the Sustainable Stand award – open to exhibitors with space-only stands – will applaud companies who have actively implemented eco-conscious measures when designing and building their stands, demonstrating their commitment to reducing environmental impact.

Exhibitors will be scored based on what materials the stand uses and whether these are recyclable and renewable, and how energy consumption and waste is minimised.

Each stand will also be judged on criteria such as stand operation, the measurement of emissions, supplier choices, and governance.

The judges for the award include Barbara Olioso, managing director of The Green Chemist Consultancy; Piers Kelly, group operations director of RX; and Winfried Mühling, marketing and communications director of Pro Carton, the European association of carton and cartonboard manufacturers.

All submissions must be received by Tuesday 27 February 17:00 GMT to be considered.

Interested exhibitors can fill out the application form here, alongside the RXUK Stand Emission Measurement Calculator and can also provide supporting documents.

The winner will be announced and presented with a trophy at 18:00 on 16 April during the in-cosmetics Global awards and after-party ceremony.
