Barentz International has acquired Radian Chemical Products, an Indian distributor of personal care ingredients.
The Dutch firm said the acquisition enforces and complements the Barentz India product portfolio with innovative colour cosmetic ingredients.
The deal is also expected to open a realm of strategic opportunities for growth across the Asia Pacific region, it added.
Radian chief executive Manoj Botadra and the current team of Radian will continue to manage the day-to-day operations of the business.
“The acquisition aligns with our vision to be at the forefront of delivering high quality ingredients and solutions for personal care. It benefits our principals and customers by providing access to a broader portfolio of solutions and a deeper pool of expertise,” said Barentz chief executive Peter Boone.
Botadra added: “The deciding factor to join Barentz was the global nature of the business which creates tremendous opportunities to strengthen and expand our offering in India.
“We are confident that this strategic move will amplify our reach and elevate our commitment to excellence in the industry.”
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
