BASF is inviting industry professionals to participate in its online Sustainable Beauty Days event to be held on 15-16 November.
Topics will include future sustainability trends and challenges, the forward-looking interplay between sustainability and digitalisation, as well as insights into new ingredient and formulation developments.
Participants will gain first-hand impressions on how Indonesian indigenous communities and international companies benefit from the sustainable management of resources from Venticia Hukom, managing director of the non-profit organization Kaleka.
In addition, the audience will get insights about businesses of the future by Daniela Kleiman, futurist, founder and CEO of FutureFuture.
BASF's Responsible Sourcing Dialogue will also be part of Sustainable Beauty Days 2023 and will focus on the importance of sustainable and responsible sourcing of palm, coconut, castor, argan, and other renewables as the industry moves increasingly from fossil to bio-based raw materials.

Innovation in our industry requires us to maintain our commitments to protecting our planet and conserving its resources,” said Dr Becky Stiles, BASF Care Chemicals Europe & Asia Pacific head of applied sustainability.

The sessions will be broadcasted live from BASF’s Care Chemicals Customer Experience Centre in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
Participants will join virtually and will be welcomed to submit questions and participate in the interactive surveys during the sessions.
