The 2023 edition of the in-cosmetics Asia trade show in Bangkok this November will include a country focus on India.
Event organiser RX says India is a large and rapidly growing market for beauty and personal care products, largely driven by socio-economic factors.
According to Euromonitor International, the country now ranks as the world’s eighth largest beauty and personal care market with a total value of $15 billion and growing rate of 10% each year.
“Following the 2022 event, where India’s trademark products - essential oils and fragrances - were highly sought after by visitors, in-cosmetics Asia has recognised the growing significance of the country’s market on the rest of the globe,” said an RX spokeswoman.
“In response, the 2023 edition will be presenting a tailored India Country Focus programme to cater to India-specific interests and needs, provide unrivalled insights into Indian consumer trends, and allow visitors to delve into the country’s flourishing market,” she added.
“Visitors can expect to see a variety of traditional and cutting-edge Indian ingredients, formulations, and practices from key suppliers.”
in-cosmetics Asia takes place on 7-9 November at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Thailand.
Free online registration closes at midnight on 5 November, Bangkok time. Following this, visitors will only be able to register at the show and will be charged 500 Thai baht.
Sarah Gibson, RX exhibition director for in-cosmetics Asia said: “For each event we strive to ensure visitors are brought to the forefront of the cutting-edge themes, trends, and innovations that are shaping the direction of the ever-evolving industry.
“Extensive market analysis and research is undertaken to determine each show programme, and as such, the beauty trends in the Asia Pacific region; sustainability, innovation, and the growing influence of indie brands and the Indian market; have formed the foundation of which this year’s event is built upon. We look forward to welcoming the supply chain to Bangkok for yet another landmark event.”
