Azelis has signed an Asia-Pacific personal care ingredient distribution agreement with Groupe Berkem.
Effective immediately, Azelis will distribute Berkem’s complete portfolio of plant-based cosmetic ingredients in Thailand and Korea.
France-based Berkem develops and manufactures a wide range of natural active ingredients derived from plant materials, including polyphenols, which are well known for their antioxidative functionalities.
Azelis said the addition of Berkem’s portfolio reinforces Azelis’ personal care offering and solutions for Thailand and Korea and strengthens the group’s lateral value chain.
“Groupe Berkem’s range of plant-based ingredients represents a real asset for our product portfolio targeting the Thai and Korean cosmetic markets,” added Azelis Asia Pacific business development director Kimberly Chung.
