NYSCC Suppliers’ Day named top 100 US trade show

The New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) Suppliers’ Day has been named a top 100 trade show in the United States.

Facilitated by Trade Show Executive (TSE) magazine, the Gold 100 Awards honours the top US trade shows and their show management teams across an array of business and industry sectors.

NYSCC Suppliers’ Day ranked #78 in 2021 for total net square footage of 73,825.

“The accomplishments of the Gold 100 show organisers were a major feat during the ups and downs of the pandemic,” said TSE publisher and editor-in-chief Gabrielle Weiss.

“Many challenges and new protocols were put before them, and they prevailed. All of us at TSE are excited for them and proud to honour them,” he added.  

NYSCC Suppliers’ Day takes place annually at the Javits Convention Centre in New York City and showcases the latest raw materials, ingredients, formulations and technical innovations for the beauty and personal care industries. 

The event attracts more than 8,000 attendees from over 55 countries and includes cosmetic chemists and ingredient executives including R&D professionals involved in ingredient/strategic sourcing, formulation experts, and marketing/sales strategists.

Recent post attendee survey results show that Suppliers’ Day has a loyal audience with 55% returning annually and over 77% have influence in purchasing.

Attendees also cite Suppliers’ Day as the main show in North America that they attend for new products, education, networking as well as insight on industry trends.

The next event, which takes place on 2-3 May, will focus on ‘Reimagining Renewal & Wellness’ through its conference programme and show floor speciality areas and activations.
