Ashland hikes prices by 15% due to inflation pressures

US speciality chemicals firm Ashland will increase prices by up to 15%, or as contracts allow, effective from 1 October.

The Delaware company said the increase will cover continued general inflation related to raw materials, energy, freight and labour.

The price increase includes all Ashland products across all the markets and applications the company serves.

These include life sciences, personal care, specialty additives and intermediates.
