German cosmetic ingredient supplier CLR Berlin has launched a new CSR (corporate social responsibility) programme named ‘Acting together’.
The company said the new programme will bundle its CSR activities, looking “proudly” at what it has achieved, make new commitments and continue on a more sustainable path.
“Sustainability and social responsibility are not new topics for CLR, but have long been firmly anchored in its integrated management system combining quality, environmental and social responsibility aspects in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SA8000 and EFfCI GMP standards,” it said in a statement.
“It is CLR’s mission and challenge to supply the cosmetics industry with high-quality actives contributing to the formulation of products that are not only good for the consumer, but also for our planet,” it added.
CLR Berlin has a Gold rating by CSR platform EcoVadis, recognising a commitment to the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
CLR focuses on the development of new products with scientifically proven effects and innovative concepts for their use.
The responsible use of natural resources is an essential constituent of its activities. Many of the company’s products have obtained certificates, such as COSMOS, Ecocert and NATRUE.
