US firm Ultra Chemical is to showcase algae-based delivery systems along with prebiotics for microbiota care at SWSCC (Southwest Society of Cosmetic Chemists) Suppliers’ Day in Irving, Texas.
At the event on 14 September, Ultra will demonstrate double encapsulated delivery systems with targeted delivery of actives, a prebiotic line for a healthy microbiota, and a highly stable, water-soluble Vitamin C that does not discolour formulations.
“We are happy to be back and exhibiting at the SWSCC Suppliers’ Day and showcasing our technologies,” said North America sales manager Laura Anderson (pictured).
“There is new clinical data for the prebiotic, preBIULIN AGA, around helping the microbiota recover quickly from UV exposure,” she added.
“We also have clinically supported Bicoalgae technologies which are rich in astaxanthin and Omega-3s, helping to decrease inflammatory cytokines, reduce oxidative stress, and address issues associated with chronically inflamed skin.”
Suppliers’ Day will also be an opportunity for Ultra to showcase new formulations highlighting the versatile range of raw materials they offer from suppliers such as Jojoba Desert, Gobiotics, and Bicosome.
