Barentz International has acquired ACE Trade CZ, a Czech distributor of specialty ingredients for the personal care, homecare and industrial markets.
The Dutch company said the acquisition strengthens its presence in the Czech Republic, particularly in the personal care, homecare and industrial performance materials market segments, in addition to some activities in the human nutrition market.
The acquisition also extends Barentz CZ’s local network of logistic centres and application laboratories, it added.
Certain activities will be integrated into the Barentz CZ operations over the coming six months, whilst the current ACE Trade management oversees a smooth transition.
ACE Trade CZ will continue to operate under its own name and entity for a limited period of time.
Current ACE Trade managing director Aleš Motyčka will remain in charge during the integration of all activities into Barentz CZ.
