Laboratoires Expanscience has launched a liquid version of its Sweetone Bio skincare active ingredient for imperfection correcting, soothing and unifying.
Sweetone Bio is a concentrate of active molecules extracted from Schisandra sphenanthera berries by a bio-enzymatic process.
The powder form launched in 2013 remains available and the liquid form is an additional product.
Laboratoires Expanscience said the manufacturing process for the liquid form of Sweetone Bio is the same as the powder form, only the stabilization method is different: maltodextrin for the powder form/glycerin for the liquid form.
This new galenic makes it possible to meet the new needs of its customers, the French firm added.
The Chinese supply chain for schisandra berries is FairWild certified, which guarantees sustainability for both wild plant and human resources.
The organic berries grow wild, without pesticides or fertilizers, and are harvested by hand according to best agricultural practices.
