Canadian cosmetics ingredient manufacturer Siltech is ramping up production of specialty silicones.
The Ontario company is transitioning both of its manufacturing facilities to a 7-day, 24-hour work schedule.
From 1 April, Siltech’s larger facility in Mississauga, Ontario will convert to the new 24-hour work schedule.
The company’s Toronto facility will begin ramping up to round-the-clock production on 1 May.
The move will ensure “further flexibility and fully maximizing our manufacturing capabilities,” a spokesman said.
