During NYSCC Suppliers’ Day, Granpowder BBP-700 from Grant Industries was named as the winner of a CEW Beauty Creators Awards, which will be held on 1 December
During NYSCC Suppliers’ Day, Granpowder BBP-700 from Grant Industries was named as the winner of a CEW Beauty Creators Awards, which will be held on 1 December. It won in a special category, ‘Supplier’s: Ingredients & Formulation’, which recognises the role that ingredients, formulation and new technology play in successful beauty and personal care product launches.
Granpowder BBP-700 is an amino acid derivative derived from a bio-fermentation process. It is described as “biobased, biodegradable, and highly functional” and is positioned as an alternative to microplastic powder in makeup and skincare. One of the judges said: “This is an answer to many needs that the cosmetic scientists need today to address the replacement of synthetic powders”.
Together with the seven other nominees in the CEW Supplier Award, Granpowder BBP-700 was displayed at the Product Showcases on the final day of the event. The others were:
