The New York Society of Cosmetics Chemists (NYSCC) will launch Suppliers’ Day ‘At Home Live Week Of Beauty’ featuring education, engagement, new products, awards and more for the beauty and personal care industry.
Taking place online from September 28 through October 2, 2020, Suppliers’ Day At Home Live will showcase the Revolutionary Disruptors that have defined 2020, including: the impact of COVID in beauty/personal care, the pivots many made to home care formulations, trends that have started due to the pandemic or have continued through it, and a global view of the future with sights on 2021.
In conjunction with leading industry partners and associations, Suppliers’ Day At Home Live offers an intensive week long educational program for the North American beauty and personal care industry sector. The unique conference program, which will remain available online for the first half of October includes Personal Care Magazine's, World of Chemistry Series.
The theme for Suppliers’ Day At Home Live Week of Beauty is “Revolutionary Disruptors!” and the online event will have relevant educational content and engagement forums for these disrupters that are impacting product development, the roles of cosmetic chemists, and the growth and success of the industry.
Programs to take place included the CEW Suppliers’ Award Finalists panel that discusses the novel attributes and technologies that made these ingredients and formulations stand out to the judges representing top brands.
INDIE 360, World of Chemistry and the PCPC’s presentation on Safety, Regulatory Hot Topics are also set to be popular programs. Other highlights include a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony led by NYSCC Chairman Giorgino Macalino, Executive Board and Committee Members, as well as the announcement of the winner of the CEW Supplier’s: Ingredients & Formulation Award.
A “90 Day Survival Guide for the Future Cosmetic Chemist” will also bepresented during the Week of Beauty and provides the building blocks for a solid career as a cosmetic chemist including “Talent Acquisition;” “Trends & Research – Tools to Success,” and “Discovery & Compliance.”
The NYSCC Main Stage Video Bites features exhibitors talking about their ingredients, solutions and innovations – highlighting their achievements of 2020.
