JLand Biotech's chief scientific officer Dr Zhao Jianfeng won the prestigious “Outstanding Individual” awards at PCHI (Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients) Fountain Awards ceremony 2020.
The Fountain Awards programme recognises outstanding contributions to the industry in its efforts toward research advancements and technological innovation.
The virtual awards ceremony this year drew more than 100,000 views and garnered positive industry reviews.
Dr Zhao Jianfeng won the outstanding individual award for work in fermentation technology. This technology is behind the development of Biollagen, Jland Biotech’s patented recombinant collagen technology.
Dr Zhao contributed to JLand Biotech’s advanced freeze-drying technology used to produce Biollagen balls that are preservative-free but which have a long shelf life.
