The Asian cosmetics market is growing at an exponential rate, with Euromonitor predicting that by 2014 Asia’s share of the global cosmetics and toiletries market will be the same as Western Europe.
As the leading pan-Asian personal care ingredient show, in-cosmetics Asia 2012 is set to provide an authoritative voice on this growing market, as it makes a welcome return to Bangkok’s BITEC on 6-8 November. Presenting its largest show to date, it will bring together ingredient suppliers, cosmetic manufacturers and some of the most respected figures from within the industry to share the latest information, knowledge and expertise. The show also signals the most extensive Workshop programme in the event’s history. Key features include a series of comprehensive Workshops; Marketing Trend sessions; Innovation Seminars and the return of the Innovation Zone, with its focus on new ingredient launches and formulations. This year brings not one, but two industry-leading awards – with the in-cosmetics Asia Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Award 2012, as well a new partnership with the Cosmetics & Toiletries R&D Awards 2012. Sarah Gibson, exhibition director at incosmetics Asia, said: “This is the biggest show in our five-year history, with up to 300 exhibitors set to take their place and more than 5,000 visitors expected. in-cosmetics Asia is the must-attend event for anyone involved in the personal care industry in Asia and we’re looking forward to opening the doors to encourage innovation, education and the sharing of knowledge across the region.”
