SKIN BRIGHTENING LOTION – PARABEN-FREE J3/11B

Preparation:

Procedure Add D.I. Water and sprinkle in Ultrez® 10 under propeller mixing. Heat phase A to 70°C. Add phase B ingredients and maintain batch temperature at 70-75°C. When phases are at temperature, homogenise phase A and B for 10 min. Switch to prop. Pre-mix phase C in a side vessel using prop agitation until it is smooth and uniform and free of any lumps. Cool batch to 55-60°C and add phase C using a homomixer. (Caution: Ensure this phase is not added above this temperature so that none of the volatile cyclomethicone flashes off). When uniform, change to sweep and add phase D slowly. Pre-mix phase E in a side vessel. Cool batch to 45°C and add phase E. Pre-mix phase F. Warm to effect solution. Add to the batch. Cool the batch to room temperature and adjust pH with 10% Citric Acid to 5.0 – 6.0. Properties JEESILC® PS-CM is a non-crosslinked silicone copolymer. JEECIDE® CAP-5 is a globally-approved broad spectrum paraben-free preservative system effective against bacteria, yeast and mould. JEECHEM® FS-102 is a cost-effective fragrance solubiliser. Botanagen C is a stable form of Vitamin C.
