CLEAR FACE WASH WITH 2% SALICYLIC ACID

Preparation:

Procedure In a suitable vessel equipped with heating and agitation capabilities, charge D.I. water, propylene glycol and BIO-TERGE®AS-40 CG-P. Start heating to 45-50°C with mixing. Add STEPAN-MILD® L3 with agitation. Continue heating to 45-50°C Mix until completely clear. Add salicylic acid with agitation. Mix until completely clear and everything is dissolved, while maintaining temperature at 45-5O°C. Add STEPAN® PEG 6000 DS with agitation. Mix until completely clear and everything is dissolved, while maintaining temperature at 45-50°C. Begin cooling to room temperature with agitation. Adjust pH with sodium hydroxide. Adjust viscosity with sodium chloride. Add preservatives, dye, fragrance if needed.
