Preparation:

Procedure 1. Charge vessel with Deionized Water. Start agitation. 2. Slowly sprinkle in AQUA SF-1. Mix well. 3. Adjust pH to 5.8 - 6.2 with AMP 4. Add Glycerin, Steol CS-230, STEPAN® SLL-FB and STEPAN® SSL-CG. 5. Start heating the batch to 160 - 165°F. Hold this temperature for 15 - 20 minutes. 6. Start cooling to 80°F and add Lipo APS 40/60. 7. At 80°F add preservatives, fragrance and dye, if desired. Adjust pH to 5.5 - 6.0 with Citric Acid. Properties Appearance Clear with suspended particles pH, as is 6.5 - 7.0 Viscosity at 25°C 5,000 - 6,000 cps Temperature Stable (1 month at room) Stable (1 month at 50°C) Suppliers 1 Noveon 2 Dow 3 Lipo Chemical

Notes:

This formulation exfoliates the skin and leaves a velvety after-feel.
