Preparation:
Procedure • Dissolve the fragrance into Tween™ 20 and mix for 2 minutes. • Add 20% de-ionized water to the mixture with agitation (100 rpm) for 2 minutes and then add the remaining de-ionized water (65.08%) with agitation. • Disperse Carbopol® Ultrez 21 polymer into the batch and wait until complete wetting. Mix with lowspeed agitation. • Add Fixate® Plus polymer to the batch with agitation and then add Glydant® slowly to the batch. • Increase the agitation speed to 300 rpm. Neutralize the batch to pH 7.3 with agitation for 30 minutes. • Add PVP K-30 polymer to the batch with agitation. Adjust the final pH to about 7.5 by TEA.
