This sunscreen uses the elegant emollient and sunscreen solvent, HallBrite BHB, and olive-inspired multifunctional chemistries Olivem, Oliwax and Eurol BT to provide superior aesthetics and enhanced skin care. This product yielded SPF 34 and PFA 9 performance in in vitro testing, with critical wavelength 376 nm.

Preparation:

To a secondary vessel, add phase A ingredients and start mixing. Heat to 75°C. Add phase B ingredients in order with continued mixing. To the main vessel, add the water of phase C and start mixing. Add the remaining phase C ingredients in order. When homogeneous, heat to 75°C. When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add phase AB to phase C with prop mixing. Mix for 2 minutes, then homogenize for 3 minutes. Resume prop mixing and start cooling. When phase ABC is below 50°C, add phase D. Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature. Replace any water lost to evaporation and mix until smooth.
