Preparation:
Procedure Combine Phase A materials in a suitable blender and mix until uniform. Pass the blended Phase A twice through a micropulverizer equipped with a 0.020" herringbone (H.B.) screen Check the batch for proper color dispersion. Additional pulverizations may be needed. When the color is fully developed, transfer the batch back into the blender and spray Phase B into the product. Mix until uniform. Pass the batch twice through a micropulverizer equipped with a 0.062" H.B. screen. Check the batch for proper liquid dispersion. Additional pulverizations may be needed. When proper dispersion is achieved, adjust the product by taking a portion of the batch and adding the desired color(s) and pulverizing until fully dispersed. Add the adjustment to the batch and blend until uniform – repeat until product matches the standard. Once approved for color, transfer to acceptable storage containers and store in a cool, dry area.Notes:
