Preparation:

Oil phase: In a secondary vessel, combine A. Start mixing. Add B. When uniform, add C. Heat to 90°C, then add D in order. Water phase: To the main vessel, add E. Start mixing. Add F. When dissolved, add G and start heating to 87°C. In a separate vessel, premix H. and add to the main vessel. When both the oil phase and the water phase are uniform and at the defined temperatures, add the oil phase to the water phase with strong mixing without aeration. After ten minutes, start homogenizing and cooling. When the batch is at 55°C, stop homogenizing and resume sweep mixing. When the batch is at 50°C add I. In a separate vessel, dilute K in J. When uniform, add to batch when the batch is at 35°C. When the batch is again uniform, add L. Add deionized water to compensate for evaporative losses. Continue mixing until a smooth, homogeneous lotion results. Perform final quality assurance checks.
