COLD PROCESS SOAP USING EXOTIC BUTTERS & OILS (FOR NORMAL SKIN)
Hallstar
Preparation:
Prepair moulds and any other ingredients in advance. Dissolve lye in the distilled water, adding the lye slowly to the water. (The lye will react immediately with the water and get very hot!) Allow mixture to cool to 55°C. Heat oils to 55°C. Melt the exotic butters with the oils separately from water/lye mixture until clarified (approximately 55°C max). Once the lye solution and the oil/butter mixture reach 55°C seperately, carefully add the lye solution to the oil/butter mixture; stir until trace (thick slurry). This stirring process can take up to 1 hour using a mixer. At trace, add the essential oil. Stir to mix thoroughly and pour into moulds. Insulate with covers and leave to rest undisturbed for 24 hours. Unmould and cut into desired shapes. Cure for at least 3 to 5 weeks.Disclaimer
